Fast on Monday and Make Duaa

Fasting on Mondays and Thursdays is a Sunnah and a practice by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The Prophet used to fast on Mondays and Thursdays, “the deeds are shown before Allah (swt) and Allah (swt) says, “Fasting is Mine, and I am the one who rewards it.” By fasting on these days, the Prophet wanted to present his good deeds to Allah while fasting, as fasting is an act of worship that is highly valued.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) also emphasized the benefits of fasting, stating that it is “like a shield” and that the faster has “two joys: one when he breaks his fast and another when he sees his Lord.” Additionally, he said that in Allah’s eyes, “the change in the breath of a fasting person is preferable to the scent of musk.” These statements highlight the spiritual significance of fasting and the rewards that can be gained through this practice.

In summary, fasting on Mondays and Thursdays is a Sunnah recommended by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to present our good deeds to Allah while fasting. It also has many spiritual benefits and rewards for those who observe this practice.

We encourage you to fast on Monday, make lots of dua and ask Allah for forgiveness.
