My two children are my inspiration and motivation, and I am excited and proud to say they are helping me create Ramadan products for kids.
Through my 10-year involvement with nonprofits, I’ve designed numerous marketing materials for Islamic organizations. This experience led me to the idea of curating digital Ramadan products that are more affordable and available to the wider Muslim community. Thus, the beginning of Ramadany, a site featuring tools and reminders I have carefully designed to help keep us all focused during the blessed month of Ramadan.
With the changes brought to us this year by COVID-19, I know not everyone can now shop for Ramadan products. I felt, even more the importance of making affordable online resources available to the community during this difficult time.
While we are sitting tight and celebrating Ramadan at home with our families, it is essential not to miss the ways in which technology affords us the ability to still enact much good. This Ramadan, I look forward to participating in the 30 days of giving challenge supporting all my favorite nonprofit organizations.
