The Blessings of Ramadan

Ramadan’s 30 days are a time of Great Mercy and forgiveness from Allah (SWT) when the closeness of heaven can be felt, and prayers are answered.
⁣

It is a time of giving the best of ourselves to the Lord and asking for His blessing in the coming year. Vices can be broken, and new habits formed as faith is deepened during the physical, spiritual, and emotional focus of fasting.
⁣

The blessings and benefits of Ramadan are too many to be counted. If you do recognize them and realize their importance, you would wish to have the month of Ramadan to be throughout the whole year.
⁣

The blessing of fasting!
⁣

– Fasting in Ramadan is a means of learning self-control. Fasting provides a break in the cycle of rigid habits or overindulgence.
⁣

– Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “Whoever observes fasting for one day in Allah’s cause (to seek His good pleasure), Allah will keep his face away from (hell) fire (a distance covered by a journey of) seventy years”. How about a fasting day in Ramadan?!
⁣

May Allah accept our fasting … Ameen!⁣
